HISTORY OF AKINLOOYE MODEL COLLEGE
Akinlooye Model College, located in the historic city of Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, has a rich and fascinating history that spans over two and a half decades.
The seeds of the college were sown in September 1996, when a visionary parent suggested that the few Primary 5 pupils at the time could be used to start a secondary school. This innovative idea was seized upon by the founders, who were determined to provide quality education to the children of Ile-Ife and its environs.
With a humble beginning of just a handful of students, Akinlooye Model College has grown steadily over the years, evolving into a reputable and comprehensive co-educational day school.
